Our Services
Natural Resources
Policy & Advisory
Petra’s work in natural resource policy and advisory approach acknowledges our shared assets and responsibilities with a focus on deepening understanding of decision-makers and affected stakeholders.
Liberia has a diverse range of flora and wildlife, some of which are flourishing and others of which are in grave danger. The regulatory space also remains complex, under-resourced and often outdated with the fast-changing market dynamics of natural resources – both non-renewable and renewable.
With a track record of designing and capacitating resource governance initiatives in Liberia since 2006, Petra offers expertise in natural resource sector advisory services, capacity assessments, donor partner policy support to national institutions and performance reviews of natural resource program/project interventions.
Specific natural resource policy and advisory services offered include
- Institutional Capacity Assessments
- Environmental and Natural Resource regulation reform advisory
- Design & Implementation of regulatory capacity strengthening initiatives
- Performance evaluations of natural resource program/project interventions
